Terms of Service

By accessing or using TEZCITY (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is an independent, community run social platform for the Tezos ecosystem and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Tezos Foundation, X Corp., Objkt, or any wallet provider.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT OR DATA WILL BE PRESERVED.

You are solely responsible for content you post. You retain ownership of your content but grant the Service a non exclusive, worldwide, royalty free license to host, display, and distribute it as part of operating the Service. We may remove any content at our sole discretion, without notice, for any reason. We do not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for any user content, including posts, images, links, profiles, and automated or bot generated posts.

Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Points, badges, leaderboards, memberships, and supporter tiers are community features with no monetary value, are not redeemable for cash, are non transferable, and do not represent ownership, equity, or any financial instrument. Digital art and collectibles referenced on the Service may be volatile and may lose all value.

Payments (memberships and supporter subscriptions) are executed on the Tezos blockchain directly from your own wallet. Blockchain transactions are irreversible. You are solely responsible for your wallet, private keys, and for verifying every transaction before signing. We never have custody of your funds and cannot reverse, refund, or recover blockchain transactions. ALL PAYMENTS ARE FINAL AND NON REFUNDABLE except where required by applicable law. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

Membership perks and artist supporter perks are best effort digital features and may change or be discontinued at any time. Artist tier perks are provided solely by the respective artist; the Service is not a party to that arrangement and is not responsible for an artist's failure to deliver any perk. Points multipliers and features may be adjusted, suspended, or removed at any time without compensation.

You agree not to use the Service unlawfully, to harass or defraud others, to manipulate the points system, to scrape at abusive rates, to interfere with the Service, or to infringe intellectual property rights. We may suspend or terminate access at our sole discretion, without notice or liability.

The Service links to and integrates third party services (wallets, marketplaces, indexers, news feeds). We do not control and are not responsible for any third party service, content, or transaction. Your dealings with third parties are solely between you and them.

If you believe content infringes your copyright, contact us through the Report a bug feature in the menu with sufficient detail to identify the content. We will review and may remove reported content.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATORS OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR DIGITAL ASSETS, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. IN ALL CASES, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR 100 XTZ, WHICHEVER IS LESS.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operators of the Service from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these terms.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. We may modify these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator's place of residence, without regard to conflict of law rules.
